This week I:

 

- taught both second grade classes about respect via dance

- read with JJ

- finished reading "Sense and Sensibility" (Marvel Comics' Graphic Novel version - beautiful!)

- organized and led a 2nd grade book club

- went to a yoga/pilates class at 9:30 in the morning

- reconnected with a friend I haven't seen in a long time

- went on a date with my husband

- made a lot of lunches

- wrote a letter to my Grandma

- got the oil changed

- sketched

- led a cohousing meeting

- went to a bbq at a friend's house

- helped a friend with driving kids around

- washed, dried, folded AND put the laundry away

- played soccer in the park with JJ

- watched a great movie

- ate a lot of vegetables

- meditated daily

- went to my first tennis lesson

- tried to understand the nuances of buying health insurance

- watched Project Runway with a friend

 

 

Yes, this is what being more centered looks like to me - helping others, taking care of my health, loving my family, making time and space to enjoy life, learning, being present.
