Okay, maybe life changing is overstating it, but I love my new dish brush. This is a big change to the dishwashing situation in the Stoneberg house. Back in the pre-brush days we were strictly a sponge family, and I won’t go back. Put this on your list of stocking stuffers.
Life Changing Brush
October 13th, 2007Ringing Grand Central
October 10th, 2007Well, I am a big fan of Google. I use Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Talk everday and soon I am sure I will be using Grand Central everyday as well. Today I signed up for Google’s telephone service and I have to say I am impressed. I am aware of the privacy issues around potential abuse of this system, but I am shelving that discussion to use this post to tell you how awesome I think Grand Central is. I totally understand this not being for everyone, there is a steep learing curve. I will let you go check it out for yourself, but do – because it is really neat. You can also try it out by clicking on the button below to give me a call, just enter your name and number and push call.

Seven Years
August 17th, 2007
Seven years ago Kris and I stood in her parent’s back yard and became man and wife. Seven years seems like a long time. We have both grown over those seven years. As we change and grow older our relationship evolves and changes. I think this is a really challenging part of marriage(mostly for Kris). What happens when that exciting, perceptive and spontaneous young man I married turns into a dull, insensitive and all-too-predictable middle aged guy? Not an envious position huh? One of the things I love about Kris is that her words count. When Kris took the marriage vows with me I knew that she was not taking them lightly. Saying those words meant that they were truth and that she was now with me and were together. Whatever happens after that will be informed by that truth and I know that she will be my wife no matter how I screw up. She has shown me grace and taught me loads about how to forgive. I love her and look forward to spending the rest of my life with her.
